Child of the Redwoods Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

This page sets the terms and conditions of your purchase of or registration for any Child of the Redwoods product or service by Aubrey Hargis and David Hargis. This includes, but is not limited to, the Theme of the Month, Complete Curriculum, and Unlimited plans; workshops such as the Loving Discipline program; and alumni programs including Homeschool of the Redwoods Primary and Lower Elementary. By completing your registration, you agree to these terms and conditions, which are binding. Participants' rights and responsibilities are outlined below.

Membership Site Access

All program materials are distributed through the Child of the Redwoods membership and community sites. Participants must create a username and password to access these platforms and view their purchased content.

A single purchase entitles you to one login username and password. Participants must request access to the private community space upon enrollment in order to engage in course discussions.

  • For Theme of the Month, Complete Curriculum, Unlimited, Constellation, and Workshop memberships, access to both the member and community sites is available throughout your active subscription.

  • For legacy Primary and Lower Elementary members, access to the member site concludes on July 31, 2027. Community site access is not included with these legacy accounts.

Access to the membership and community sites may be revoked at any time if the Terms of Service or Community Standards are violated.

Content Access

Participants receive access to current program content, including downloadable materials, video and audio content, and course material, at the discretion of Child of the Redwoods. Child of the Redwoods reserves the right to modify or discontinue any content or access without prior notice. We are not liable for any such changes, suspensions, or discontinuations.

If the purchaser experiences any technical issues related to accessing or downloading the materials, they must report the issue to Child of the Redwoods within 7 days of the initial purchase.

A single membership entitles the purchaser to one membership site and community site account. The purchaser may print, save, or otherwise store the downloadable materials for personal use only. Personal use includes any adult or child in the immediate household. The purchaser may not distribute, in whole or in part, the contents of the materials in any manner.

Intellectual Property

All materials, including videos, images, journals, handouts, and website content, are subject to copyright law. Materials are for use only by the purchaser and their immediate household. Participants should inform Child of the Redwoods if caregiving involves special circumstances (e.g., shared custody, travel).

Login sharing or unauthorized distribution of materials results in revoked access and forfeited payment. Participants may share original content or experiences inspired by the program with proper attribution.

Payment

Payments are made directly through the membership site. If you select a payment plan, payments will recur automatically each month until all required installments are completed, in accordance with your program’s terms.

The Complete Curriculum and Unlimited plans are considered annual programs, whether paid in full at once or via monthly installments. Early cancellation is not permitted for these plans.

Monthly payments are charged approximately every 30 days, while annual payments renew on the anniversary of your enrollment date.

The Theme of the Month plan renews automatically each month and can be canceled at any time. The Complete Curriculum and Unlimited plans also renew automatically after 12 months using the same payment method and frequency (monthly or annual) as originally selected. If you wish to avoid the next billing cycle, you must cancel your subscription at least 24 hours prior.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds for any reason, including failure to attend or missed cancellations. Participants may cancel recurring memberships through the account portal. Refunds are not issued for expired coupon codes.

Cancelling a Membership

Memberships can be canceled through the membership site. Doing so ends access to all materials and community spaces at the end of the current billing period. You must complete all required payments before cancelling.

Re-enrollment may require payment at the current rate, and previous discounts will not apply. Emailing or messaging team members does not cancel your account. You are responsible for managing payments via the portal.

Confidentiality

Participants may not share discussions, comments, or media submitted by Aubrey Hargis, David Hargis, or any member of the Child of the Redwoods community without explicit permission from the author.

Removal

Participants who share protected content or violate community standards will be removed without refund. Removal is at the sole discretion of Child of the Redwoods.
